These can include but not limited to:

 ADL Task Categories 

• Eating: Spoon feed; teach to use assistive devices; cut food into bitesize

• Bathing:  Sponge bath; tub bath; help wash back only; assist in/out of shower

• Grooming:  Brush teeth; clean dentures; clean nails; comb hair

• Dressing: Choose clothes & dress; teach or help to use assistive devices

• Transferring:  Position in chair; assist to turn in bed; get out of bed; all transfers

• Continence: Assist or change adult pads; full toilet assistance; remind

•Telephoning: Place calls; answer and take messages; assist with TTY

• Preparing Meals: Teach meal planning/meal prep; assist with diet plan

• Laundry:  Laundering (home or away); load & unload only; ironing. 

• Housework: Clean bathroom & kitchen; scrub toilet & tub only; floors only

• Outside Home : Assist /perform shopping/errands; open/read mail to person
